Full of Life: A Residential House Design

Creating a Peaceful and Cozy Atmosphere for Family

The inspiration for the Full of Life design came from the beauty of nature. The designer wanted to capture the essence of a forest and bring it into the house. The sunlight filtering through the wood screen and the splashing landscape foyer set the tone for the entire space. The use of earth tone materials and the incorporation of a greenery aquarium further enhanced the natural ambiance of the house.

One of the unique features of this design is the enframed scenery technique used to create a visual extension of the interior space. By strategically placing windows and using materials that blend with the surroundings, the designer was able to seamlessly connect the indoor and outdoor vibes. The greenery aquarium, weighing in at 4 tonnes, was carefully planned and calculated to ensure its stability in the seismic zone.

The Full of Life house spans 245 square meters and features 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 dining room with a kitchen area and island, 4 bathrooms, 1 study room, and 1 Buddhist court. The layout of the bedrooms around the dining room encourages interaction among family members and creates a central hub for the home.

Throughout the design process, the Moon Refined Design Co., Ltd. team focused on creating a space that promotes a sense of peace and relaxation. The use of earth tone materials and colors, along with the incorporation of natural elements, contributes to the overall calming atmosphere of the house.

One of the challenges faced during the design process was finding a balance between feng shui principles and the limitations of the building's structure. The team had to ensure that the space was efficient and spacious while still adhering to the principles of feng shui.

The Full of Life design has been recognized for its excellence and innovation. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This award is given to designs that meet professional and industrial requirements, integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics.
